Please find below a collection of web links on bookplates and the art of the book found recently (2006-07). Some of them might be included in the main Links page.

Many of these pages are however quite ephemeral or change URL suddenly without notice so don't be surprised if you find broken links.

Its quality, both as regards contents and layout, vary considerably but as a whole we found them worth while mentioning it, as ex libris web sites are not very common still today!

An on-line Exhibition of Chinese Ex Libris (In Chinese)

Chinese Bookplates on-line (shangboliang163)- A fine on-line exhibition of Chinese Ex Libris namely, by artists Yang Shidong, Zhang Yang, Cui Zhengzi, Yang Zhongyi, Yi Yang, Zhang Jiarui and others. Chinese ex libris for understandable reasons are not still well-known to collectors in the western world, but as in other matters China will have a place in the ex libris world in the near future.

Le Journal de la Vieille France - Chronique de l'Ex Libris - An interesting series of articles on Ex Libris in France, by Docteur Pierre Séjournant, published in the periodical «Le Journal de la Vieille France» (In French). Not all articles are available on-line yet.

Ex Libris - Exposition à la médiathèque Jean-Jacques Rousseau(French) - Bookplate exhibition at Chambéry (France) which took place in 2003 with on-line gallery of French bookplates.
